If you wish to speed up or slow down the backing tracks as you play along with your computer, you’ll find this set of free MIDI files a handy feature. The most important backing tracks are provided in MIDI file format, as well as audio. You have two choices about how you hear the backing tracks – either on your computer or on your CD player.

This MIDI File Player lets you play all the MIDI files you receive in Bonus 1. Although Windows Media Player will play back MIDI files, it won’t let you slow them down or speed them up.

With this program you’ll be able to adjust the tempo of each track to suit your needs and taste. If the tempo is too fast, you can slow it down, and vice versa. You’ll even be able to mute tracks on the backing to hear one part of the backing more clearly. This is a fantastic tool to have in your music equipment collection. It will open any MIDI file you find on the Net, including MIDI files of your favorite songs
